Packed with fun, green foods like frozen avocado, spinach, matcha green tea powder and kiwi, this Green Matcha Smoothie Bowl is a perfect way to start St. Patrick's Day, or really any day of the year!

  • Ingredients
    • 1 medium banana, sliced and frozen
    • ¼ avocado, frozen
    • ⅓ cup frozen pineapple
    • 1 cup spinach
    • ½ - ¾ cup milk of choice
    • ½ to 1 tsp. matcha green tea powder
    • Optional toppings: See Chef's Tips

    Directions
    1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth. 1. Pour smoothie into bowl and top with optional toppings. Serve cold.

    Chef's Tips

    Top with sliced kiwi or other fruit, toasted coconut, peptias or pumpkin seeds, and chia seeds.


    Variations

    Omit the matcha tea powder to make this smoothie bowl more kid-friendly and caffeine free.
