Festival Foods is excited to kick off the holiday season by teaming up once again with The Salvation Army for the annual Red Kettle Campaign. From Dec. 1 through Dec. 24, Festival guests will find Red Kettles at Festival stores across Wisconsin, allowing donations to be dropped into the kettles to support The Salvation Army’s year-round services.

Festival has been part of this tradition since 1976, helping raise funds for The Salvation Army that support hunger relief, financial assistance, housing programs, youth services and more.

In addition to donating directly at the kettles, Festival guests can donate at the store registers by adding the donation to their grocery totals. In 2024, Festival guests across Wisconsin generously donated over $684,000 to the cause.

“Festival Foods has been proud to support The Salvation Army for five decades, and seeing our communities come together for the Red Kettle Campaign each holiday season is nothing short of inspiring,” said Todd Schnuck, CEO of Festival Foods. “We’re grateful for the generosity of our guests and the volunteers who help support our community, and we’re thankful to play a small part in making the campaign a success.”

The campaign’s success depends on community volunteers. The Salvation Army and Festival Foods are encouraging community members to sign up as bell ringers. Anyone interested can visit The Salvation Army’s registration site to learn more and sign up for a shift. Individuals, families, service groups and businesses are all welcome to volunteer.
