Directions: Microwave directions: In a round 2-quart microwaveable bowl, combine rice, 2 1/2 cups water and 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine. Cover and microwave at high 18-21 minutes or until rice is tender and most of liquid is absorbed. Stir in 2/3 cup milk and special seasonings. Microwave at high 1-2 more minutes or until rice mixture returns to a boil. Let stand covered at least 3 minutes. Stir well before serving. Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed.
