Ingredients: Beef, Water, Corn Syrup, Contains 2% or Less: Spice and Flavor, Salt, Isolated Soy Product, Dextrose, Potassium Chloride, Brown Sugar, Isolated Soy Protein, Potassium Phosphates, Yeast Extract, Beef Stock, Sodium Erythorbate, Sodium Nitrite.
Directions: Keep refrigerate. Use or freeze by date shown once opened, use within 7 days. Serving suggestion: Try pairing Hillshire Farm® smoked sausage with potatoes and fresh vegetables for a quick and easy meat the whole family will enjoy! Smoked sausage and potato skillet (pictured). Boil water in a large pot. Cook potatoes for 15 minutes, remove and sauce in half; set aside. In the same boiling water, cook carrots for 5 minutes and drain. Heat skillet over medium-high heat and cook sausage 2 minutes; add the potatoes, carrots, peppers and peas. Continue to cook for 10 minutes and finish with butter. Season with fresh herbs, salt and pepper. Always heat thoroughly. Pan fry: cut sausage into 1/2-inch slices and place in a large skillet. Cook and stir over medium-high heat 4-5 minutes or until lightly browned. Grill: grill sausage over medium heat 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned, turning frequently. Stove top: add sausage rope to 2-3 inches of boiling water. Reduce heat; simmer 10-12 minutes or until hot. For children under 5 years: cut sausage lengthwise, then into bite size pieces.
