Directions: Preparation Directions: You Will Need: 2 cups boiling water; 2 tablespoons margarine or butter; 1/2 cup 2% milk; 1 package Essential Everyday Au Gratin Potatoes. Conventional Oven: 1. In 1-1/2-quart baking dish, combine boiling water, milk and margarine. 2. Add sauce packet, stir until well combined; stir in potatoes. 3. Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 450 degrees F oven 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. Sauce will be thin; let stand 3-5 minutes to thicken. Stovetop: 1. In medium saucepan over high heat, combine hot water, milk, margarine, potatoes and sauce mix. 2. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally; reduce heat. 3. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Sauce will be thin; let stand 3-5 minutes to thicken. Refrigerate unused portion.
