Directions: Pasta Range Top: You Will Need: 2 tbsp. Margarine or butter; 1-1/2 cups water; 3/4 cup milk. 1: In medium saucepan, combine water, milk, margarine or butter, pasta and special seasonings. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. 2. Reduce heat to medium. Boil uncovered, 7-9 min. or until pasta is just tender, stirring frequently. 3. Sauce will be thin. Let stand 3-5 min. to thicken. About 3 cups prepared. Microwave: In 2-qt microwaveable bowl, combine 1-1/2 cups water, 3/4 cup milk, 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter, pasta and special seasonings. Stir. Microwave uncovered at high 5 minutes. Stir. Microwave at high 8-10 more minutes or until pasta is tender. Sauce will be thin. Let stand 3-5 minutes before serving. Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed. Less Fat: Follow Range Top or Microwave Directions, except substitute margarine with 1/2 tablespoon olive oil and use 3/4 cup skim milk. Fat reduced to 4.5 g from 11 g per serving with saturated fat reduced to 1.5 g from 3 g and trans fat reduced to 0 g from 1.5 g per serving. 40 calories from fat per serving.
