Ingredients: Water, Tomato Paste, Modified Corn-Starch, Spices, Salt, Onion Powder, Soybean and/or Cottonseed Oil, Garlic Powder, Hydrolyzed Corn Gluten, Soy (Contains Soybeans and Wheat), and Wheat (Contains Soybeans and Wheat) Gluten Proteins, Citric Acid, Dried Yeast, Soy Flour (Contains Soybeans and Wheat).
Directions: Makes 4 servings. 2 cups (about 10 ounces) cooked, shredded chicken or beef; 1-1/4 cups (10-ounce can) Ortega Enchilada Sauce, divided; 1/4 cup vegetable oil; 8 (6-inch) corn tortillas; 1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese. Combine chicken or beef and 1/4 cup enchilada sauce in medium bowl. Pour remaining sauce in small skillet; heat until warm. Heat oil in another small skillet over medium-high heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Pass tortillas through oil to soften using tongs; place on paper towels. Pass tortillas through enchilada sauce. Fill each tortilla with 1/4 cup meat filling; roll. Place seam-side down in baking pan. Top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in preheated 350 degrees F. Oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until hot. Storage Instructions: After opening refrigerate in resealable container.
