Fireside Spiced Cider

Take the chill away this winter with a warm mug of Fireside Spiced Cider.

  • Ingredients
    • 6 cups apple cider
    • 2 orange slices
    • 1 lemon slice
    • 1 slice fresh ginger, smashed
    • 2 cinnamon sticks
    • 10 whole cloves
    • 1 star anise (optional)

    Directions
    1. Add cider, oranges, lemon, ginger, cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise to a large saucepan and stir to mix. 1. Bring cider to a boil over high heat. Stirring occasionally, cook until liquid has reduced to 4 cups 1. about 25 minutes. Remove fruit and spices with a slotted spoon. Serve warm.
