Fireside Spiced Cider
- 6 cups apple cider
- 2 orange slices
- 1 lemon slice
- 1 slice fresh ginger, smashed
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 10 whole cloves
- 1 star anise (optional)
Directions1. Add cider, oranges, lemon, ginger, cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise to a large saucepan and stir to mix. 1. Bring cider to a boil over high heat. Stirring occasionally, cook until liquid has reduced to 4 cups 1. about 25 minutes. Remove fruit and spices with a slotted spoon. Serve warm.
