Build Your Own Grilled Pizza
- 1 (16 oz.) wheat pizza dough from our bakery
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- ½ cup turkey pepperoni
- ½ cup Canadian bacon, chopped
- ½ cup mushrooms, chopped
- ½ cup sliced olives
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions1. Preheat grill to medium heat. Once dough has risen, place it on a flat, hard surface and drizzle with 1 tablespoon oil. Work with your hands to stretch the pizza dough to desired size and thickness. Brush top of dough with 1 tablespoon oil. Place directly on hot grill grates, oiled side down. Close grill lid and cook about 3 minutes or until the dough starts to bubble. Brush remaining oil on top side and flip, using grill spatula. 1. Quickly dress pizza with sauce, desired toppings and cheese. Close grill lid and cook until cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove pizza from grill. Slice and serve.
Allow pizza dough to sit uncovered at room temperature for one hour in order to rise.
For gluten free: Use pre-baked gluten free pizza crust in place of wheat pizza dough.
