Pork Chops:
- 2
Preheat oven to 390°F.
- 3
Season the pork chops with salt, pepper and garlic powder on each side.
- 4
Heat 2 Tbsp. avocado oil in an oven safe pan or skillet over medium high heat until hot. Sear pork chops on both sides until golden, about 4-6 minutes each side. Transfer to a plate; set aside.
- 5
Using the same pan, reduce the heat to medium. Melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant; about 30 seconds. Add ¼ cup honey, ¼ cup chicken broth, rice vinegar, 1 tsp. soy sauce and 1 tsp. of sesame oil. Cook until the sauce reduces and thickens, about 3-4 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
- 6
Once the sauce has reduced, add the pork chops back into the pan, baste with the sauce and then cook in the oven for 15 minutes.
- 7
