Directions: You will need: 1 cup water*. Prep time: 3 Minutes. Cook time: 3 Minutes per batch. 1 Grease: Grease skillet or griddle with vegetable oil or shortening (or use cooking spray). Heat over medium-high heat (heat electric griddle to 375°F). 2 Stir: Stir pancake mix and water in medium bowl until blended. 3 Pour: Pour by slightly less than 1/4 cupfuls onto hot skillet. Cook until edges are dry. Turn; cook until golden brown. *For thicker pancakes, use a little less water. High altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. Waffles: Stir pancake mix, 1 cup water and 1 tablespoon vegetable oil until blended. Bake in heated waffle iron until steaming slows and waffle is golden brown. Remove carefully.
