Ingredients: Sugar, Sea Salt Caramel Filling (Sweetened Condensed Skim Milk [Skim Milk, Sugar, Corn Syrup], Corn Syrup, Sugar, Water, Butter [Cream, Salt], Modified Corn Starch, Sea Salt, Gellan Gum, Mono and Diglycerides, Baking Soda, Xanthan Gum), Enriched Flour Bleached (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Cocoa Processed with Alkali, Corn Syrup. Contains 2% or Less of: Vegetable Oil (Palm Oil and/or Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and/or Cottonseed Oil), Corn Starch, Salt, Carob Powder, Artificial Flavor.
Directions: You will need: 1/4 cup water + 1/3 cup vegetable oil + 1 egg*. Heat oven to 350°F for shiny metal or glass pan or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan. Grease bottom of pan. Stir brownie mix, water, oil and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Pour half of the batter (about 1 cup) into pan; spread evenly. Squeeze salted caramel pouch about 10 seconds. Cut 1/4-inch tip from corner of pouch. Squeeze salted caramel evenly over brownie batter to edges of pan (do not spread). Spoon remaining brownie batter over salted caramel; spread evenly. Bake as directed below or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean; cool. Betty's tip: To cut warm brownies easily, use a plastic knife and short sawing motions. Store tightly covered. Pan size: 8"x8" ... 9"x9" ... 11"x7". Bake time (in minutes): 35-38 ... 30-33 ... 28-31.
