Description: Ready-to-bake sheets. Puff Pastry Sheets are light, tender pastry that puffs into dozens of flaky, golden layers. Pre-rolled and ready to use, they offer both beginner and experienced cooks an easy way to create exciting appetizers, entrees and desserts.
Ingredients: Made From: Enriched Wheat Flour (Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Water, Vegetable Oils (Palm, Soybean, Hydrogenated Cottonseed), Contains 2 Percent Or Less Of: High Fructose Corn Syrup, Salt, Mono And Diglycerides, Soy Lecithin, Turmeric And Annatto Extracts For Color. Contains: Wheat, Soy.
Directions: Keep frozen. Thawing Puff Pastry Sheets: 1. Remove pastry from packaging and place frozen sheets side-by-side on counter to thaw. If you only need one pastry sheet, wrap remaining frozen sheet in plastic wrap or foil and return to freezer. 2. Thaw pastry sheet(s) at room temperature for 40 minutes before using. Using Puff Pastry Sheets: Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. If there are any cracks in the pastry, sprinkle with water and press together to seal. Roll, shape and bake as directed in recipe. Helpful Hints: Important: Heat oven as directed in recipe prior to baking. For more golden brown color, brush top only of unbaked pastry with an egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water). Bake as directed in recipe. Dark baking sheet, parchment paper, non-stick baking liners and insulated pans may affect the baking time. Adjust time accordingly. Do not bake in microwave or toaster oven. Keep frozen until ready to use.
