Baked Pears with Maple & Cinnamon

With only five ingredients, our Baked Pears with Maple & Cinnamon recipe is an easy dessert that not only is a better-for-you sweet treat, but will also make your house smell amazing!

  • Baked Pears with Maple & Cinnamon
  • Ingredients
    • 2 ripe pears
    • 4 Tbsp. walnuts
    • 2 tsp. maple syrup
    • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    • 1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt

    Directions
    1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 1. Cut pears in half, lengthwise. Placing flesh-side down, carefully make a horizontal slice of the skin, so that when the pear half is flipped over it will lay flat. 1. Flip the pear halves over, so the flesh side is up. Using a spoon, gently scoop out the seeds to form little bowls. Fill each pear bowl with 1 Tbsp. walnuts and ½ tsp. maple syrup. Sprinkle each pear half with ½ tsp. cinnamon. 1. Place pear halves onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove from oven and allow to cool. Top each half with ¼ cup of frozen yogurt and enjoy!
