Meet Our Mealtime Mentors

Our team of registered dietitians is here to support you in everything from making a delicious meal in 20 minutes to getting your kids to eat more fruits and vegetables to helping you transition to a new way of eating. Festival's dietitians want to meet you too, so follow them on social media, ask them a question or invite them to come speak at your workplace or school.

Lauren Tulig is a nationally accredited, state-certified Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RDN). She leads the dietitian team in developing innovative nutrition programs across the company. Lauren partners with national organizations and movements to promote good nutrition through a wide variety of media. She also collaborates with healthcare systems, schools, government agencies, area businesses, non-profit organizations and universities, to help community members learn to shop smarter in the supermarket. She designs and conducts group and individual nutrition and culinary classes, events, store tours and presentations in the community. Lauren is very passionate about helping people find achievable ways to live longer, healthier, happier lives.

Lauren is committed to giving back to her profession. She has served on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a preceptor to dietetic students and interns annually. She is also on the advisory committee for the Wellness and Health Promotions program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.

YOU Magazine named Lauren one of the "20 Women to Know" in its 2015 issue, which features influential women who are inspiring conversations, shaping their organizations and changing the way women do business in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Lauren received Produce for Better Health Foundation's Supermarket Dietitians of the Year award in 2015, which recognizes the top supermarket registered dietitians and/or health and wellness staff for their support of Fruits & Veggies—More Matters and of the collective goal of the increasing the sale and consumption of fruit and vegetables.

Emily Schwartz is a nationally accredited, Wisconsin state-certified Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RDN) with a Master's Degree in Human Nutrition. Emily draws from her previous experiences in community nutrition, healthcare and retail to provide relevant nutrition information, resources and education to our guests. She is committed to fostering and maintaining partnerships with businesses, healthcare organizations, school districts, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and universities to help promote wellness and healthy living. Hoping to inspire others, Emily offers quick, easy and affordable recipes that are "better-for-us" as a frequent contributor to the Festival blog.

Living with her own food intolerances, Emily is particularly interested in helping those with special dietary needs find fun, creative, yet nutritious food options. Each Wednesday, you can find Emily sharing her favorite allergen-friendly recipes, products, wellness tips and behind-the-scenes snippets of what it's like to be a Festival dietitian on Instagram for #EatWellwithEmily.

Although passionate about promoting health and wellness through delicious and nutritious food, Emily is also committed to supporting the growth of the dietetics profession, as well as her La Crosse community. Emily serves on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also a member of the Viterbo Dietetics Advisory Board and enjoys serving as a preceptor and mentor to dietetic students and interns each year.

Jenni Dreyer is a nationally accredited, state-certified Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RDN). She is passionate about making healthy habits easy and believes that good nutrition shouldn’t be difficult or confusing. Seeing the positive effect that healthy foods have on our guests is what drives Jenni each day.

Jenni’s biggest passion is getting people back into the kitchen and learning how to explore and love new foods. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and helping them recognize that shopping for and cooking healthy food can be fun. Jenni draws from her previous work experience in K-12 school food service management and federal Child Nutrition Programs to bring a balanced and practical approach to nutrition. She is a firm believer that all foods can be incorporated into a healthy yet delicious lifestyle.

Jenni is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as the Wisconsin Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is committed to investing in future dietitians and has served as a preceptor to dietetic interns and serves on the selection committee for the University of Wisconsin Green Bay Dietetic Internship Program.
