Cooking Instructions Print Version

For additional cooking instructions, please see the chef's tips and the USDA cooking recommendations

1. Oven

Bake or broil. Best baked 350°F for 15-20 minutes.

Chef's tip

Seasoning - none needed. This is a great dipper for tartar sauce and a squeeze of lemon.

2. Stove Top

Settings and timing

Pan searing works beautifully. Pre-heat skillet to medium high. Put a small amount of cooking oil in the pan and sear each side 3-5 minutes until golden brown.

Chef's tips

These make great fish sandwiches. Get some SKS bread (whatever flavor you like). Slice it thick and toast it, and then put on some romaine lettuce leaves, tomato slices and shaved red onions. Yum! Oh yeah, and don’t forget the tartar sauce. Or have you ever tried creamy coleslaw on a fish sandwich? It rocks!
