The Unveiling of Apothic White
|
As most of you know, I love wine. I love to try different types from all over the world. I love to try something that is going to be different and exciting to me! Well, for all of the customers that have purchased a bottle of Red Blend from Apothic at your local Festival Foods (including a fair number from me), get ready for some outstanding news from Apothic…they recently introduced their White Blend! This White Blend is offering up the versatility that will to appeal to all pallets. This phenomenal blend is composed of smooth and approachable style of Chardonnay, the crisp and floral aromatics of Riesling, and the sweet fruit flavor of Moscato. Apothic White is a delicate blend which creates layers of tropical fruit (peach, pineapple) complemented by hints of honey and vanilla. The timing of this release couldn’t be any more perfect as this wine will be great during the spring and summer with the warmer weather on its way. Don’t forget about the Easter holiday right around the corner- I plan on having a bottle during my feast. For those who haven’t tried the Apothic Red, I suggest you buy a bottle. It is a captivating blend of four distinct grapes with the dark fruit flavors of Syrah, brambly spice of Zinfandel, boldness of Cabernet, and a smooth elegance of Merlot. This combination offers the versatility of blended wine with the rich, full -bodied flavors and boldness typically found only in single varietals. Apothic Red reveals intense fruit aromas and flavors of rhubarb and black cherry that are complemented by hints of mocha, chocolate, brown spice and vanilla. The plush, velvety mouth feel and smooth finish round out this intriguing, full-bodied red blend. Man, can you believe all of the adjectives used there? But, they all ring true; it makes me want to have a glass of each now! In fact, I might see you at your closest Festival Foods picking up a bottle of each for myself! Make sure you find your way to Festival Food soon to try a couple. Trust me; you will be pleasantly surprised on how great these taste and how affordable they are!
