Super deal and super burger recipes from Man Cave Craft Eats

Our friends at Man Cave Craft Eats have some super delicious recipes for The Big Game! Haven't tried Man Cave Craft Eats? It's the perfect time to try something from this  company that started at a Farmer's Market in Minneapolis by folks who wanted to "challenge the ordinary."

The company's goal: Create the best meats possible without any compromises. They've got everything from sausage links to specially seasoned burgers to hot dogs. Here are a few recipes you can try when you get those tasty products home:


Slow Cooker Sirloin, Brisket, Short Rib Big Game Sliders

Serving size: 24 sliders

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 9 hours


2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons tomato paste

4 large fresh basil sprigs

4 cloves of garlic, minced

2 28 ounce cans of crushed whole tomatoes

2 teaspoons of fresh ground black pepper

2 lbs Man Cave Craft Eats Sirloin, Brisket, Short Rib Fresh Ground Beef

½ cup breadcrumbs or Panko

¼ cup ricotta cheese

¼ cup Parmesan cheese

1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 egg

1 egg yolk

2 dozen slider buns

12 provolone cheese slices, halved (optional)


Stir together the olive oil, tomato paste, basil, garlic, crushed whole tomatoes, salt and pepper in a large slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours.

Note, meatballs can be made ahead of time. Place the ground beef in a large bowl. Add breadcrumbs, cheeses, parsley, egg and egg yolk into the ground beef. Mix with your hands, gently until blended. Shape meat mixture into 24 meatballs and arrange on a baking sheet.

Gently drop the meatballs into the tomato mixture in the slower cooker after the 8 hours has expired. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, stirring once.

Toast buns in oven, and add cheese if desired.Place one meatball per slider bun and enjoy!

Big Game Burgers

Serving size: 2

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes


4 Man Cave Craft Eats Bacon-Bursting Beef & Pork Patties

2 tablespoons of cooking oil

6 hamburger buns

4 slices of American cheese

Handful of shredded lettuce

Thousand Island dressing

Sliced pickles

1/2 cup diced onions


Lightly toast hamburger buns on a hot skillet. Transfer to plates.

In a large skillet, warm 2 tablespoons of cooking oil to medium high heat. Add beef patties and cook until cooked through, about 3 minutes per side.

On two of the bottom buns, add ½ tablespoon of Thousand Island dressing, sprinkle of diced onion and shredded lettuce pickles, cheese and one hamburger patty.

Place the other bottom buns on top and top with Thousand Island dressing, sprinkle of diced onion, shredded lettuce, pickles, cheese and the other hamburger patties.

Top with remaining buns and enjoy!

Tackle turkey burger

Tackle Turkey Burger

Serving Size: 2

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes


2 Man Cave Craft Eats Jalapeno and Queso Fresco Turkey Patties

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 toasted hamburger buns

2 slices of pepper jack cheese

1 jalapeno, sliced

2 tablespoons hot chili paste sauce

2 tablespoons mayo


Heat large skillet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Once skillet is hot, add turkey patties and cook until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, about 10 minutes, flipping once.

While the patties are cooking, slice the jalapeno.

Top your patties with pepper jack cheese and let melt on the warm skillet.

Spread mayo on bottom half of hamburger buns, dividing equally.

Remove the turkey patties topped with cheese from the skillet and place on hamburger buns.

Top the patties with jalapeno and hot chili paste and enjoy!
