It may be surprising that our dietitian team is sharing recipes for milkshakes, but we believe that all foods (yes, even milkshakes) can fit into a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

 

Whether you’re a dairy lover or free from dairy, everyone deserves a sweet treat every-once-in-a-while.

Our Raspberry Cheesecake Milkshake offers a fun twist on the traditional milkshakes. Lightened-up with skim milk, low-fat cream cheese and frozen raspberries, this milkshake offers not only nutritional benefits like calcium, protein and fiber, but also tastes great! 

Raspberry Cheesecake Milkshakes

Ingredients

1 cup skim milk

2 cups vanilla ice cream (or vanilla frozen yogurt)

1 cup frozen raspberries

1 tsp. lemon zest

2 oz. reduced fat cream cheese  

Optional toppings: fresh raspberries, graham crackers and whip cream  

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Top with optional toppings and enjoy!

 

Yield: 4 servings

No worries! Our Cocoa-Nut Milkshake mixes creamy coconut milk products with rich cocoa to make out-of-this-world delicious (and dairy free) milkshakes.  

Cocoa-Nut Milkshake

Ingredients

1 cup vanilla non-dairy frozen dessert (like Luna & Larry’s Coconut Bliss)

1 cup unsweetened coconut milk

½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut

2 Tbsp. cocoa powder

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1 tsp. maple syrup, optional  

Optional toppings, like Enjoy Life® mini chocolate chips, extra shredded coconut and dairy free whip topping  

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Top with optional toppings and enjoy!
