Do you ever have those days when you're on the go and need a quick snack? Who am I kidding, we all do!!! One question I'm often asked is what I recommend for a snack bar. This is a tough question with a variety of different answers. First of all, these bars are not created equal, and many are created to meet the needs of a specific group of people. For example, one might be created to meet the needs of a high-performance athlete, while another is made for a person with diabetes. Some are created to simply target the general population. There seems to be a snack, meal, or granola bar out there for just about everyone. It's important to look at these differences in choosing the right bar for you. One snack bar that I recently discovered is the KIND Bar. These bars are all natural and are a good source of fiber. They are also trans fat and cholesterol free, low in sodium, and (as the brand trademark saying goes ...) they are "made with ingredients you can see and pronounce! ™" All but one of the flavors are gluten-free and wheat-free, and many are also dairy-free. KIND Bars are literally whole nuts and chunks of dried fruit, and they are held together with honey. I was intrigued by this relatively new product line, and decided that I should see what you all think. So I have planned a few demos for the KIND Bars at three of our store locations. Please come visit me to get a taste for yourself. Here's where I will be: Green Bay West - Friday, November 13th from 3:00-6:00 PM Green Bay East - Saturday, November 14th from 10:00AM-1:00PM De Pere - Sunday, November 15th from 10:00AM-1:00PM I hope to see you there!
