Kellogg's Snack Mix

This snack mix needs to come with a warning label – the salty, crunchy goodness will have you coming back for more (and more). Kellogg’s® Crispix® cereal is crispy rice on one side and crunchy corn on the other and it pairs flawlessly with Cheez-It® crackers for a crowd-pleasing snack. The best part? This recipe is adaptable and you can mix in dried fruit, nuts or whatever else your heart desires!

Kellogg’s Crispix Snack Mix

Recipe adapted from Kellogg’s

 

Ingredients:

5 cups Kellogg’s® Crispix® Cereal

1 (12.4 oz. box) or 5 cups Sunshine® Cheez-It® Original Crackers

3 Tbsp. butter, melted

4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 Tbsp. dried chives

2 tsp. lemon juice

¼ tsp. garlic powder

¼ tsp. onion powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F.
  2. In a 9x13x2-inch baking pan combine Kellogg’s Crispix® Cereal and Cheez-It® Crackers. Set aside.
  3. Stir together remaining ingredients. Drizzle over cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool completely. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Microwave Directions:

  1. In a large microwave safe bowl combine Crispix® Cereal and Cheez-It® Crackers. Set aside.
  2. Stir together remaining ingredients. Drizzle over cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  3. Microwave on high for 4 minutes, stirring halfway through. Spread on paper towels to cool completely. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
