Food on a table

Turn up the fancy and enjoy a special holiday dinner this year. Let a Heat & Serve Meal from our Deli shine on this year’s dinner table. We’ll do all the work and all you have to do is heat it up! Here's how to get on the table for the feast.

Prime Rib: Preheat oven to 200-350°F depending on how you want your meat cooked. For best results:

  • Medium Rare- 200°F for 7-15 minutes or until internal temp is 125-130°F
  • Medium- 275°F for 12-20 minutes or until internal temp is 135-140°
  • Well Done- 350°F for 15-25 minutes or until internal temp is 155-160°F

Remove prime rib from refrigerator and let it reach room temperature. This will ensure that the meat reheats evenly
Insert the pan into the oven and place on the middle rack
Cook for the desired amount of time and temperature
Take the internal temperature by placing the thermometer in the center of the meat
Keep in mind, the ends of the roast will be more “done” compared to the middle, so for best results temp the middle of the prime rib
Once the prime rib has reached its desired temperature pull the roast from - the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes
Keep in mind the prime rib will continue to cook during this rest stage and will raise another 5-10 degrees
 Slice to your desired thickness
