Omit the matcha tea powder to make this smoothie bowl more kid-friendly and caffeine free.
Green Matcha Smoothie Bowl
- 1 medium banana, sliced and frozen
- ¼ avocado, frozen
- ⅓ cup frozen pineapple
- 1 cup spinach
- ½ to ¾ cup milk of choice
- ½ to 1 tsp. matcha green tea powder**
- Sliced kiwi (or other fruit)
- Toasted coconut
- Pepitas (or pumpkin seeds)
- Chia seeds
- Place all smoothie ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth.
- Pour smoothie into bowl and top with optional toppings. Serve cold.
Yield: 1 serving
