Fresh Kabobs and Potatoes on the Grill

We just rolled out a new summer grilling item at Festival: fresh kabobs! They are so delicious! There are four varieties and we make them fresh in our kitchens several times a week.

  • Certified Angus Beef Burgundy Pepper Spoon Steak & Potato
    • Fully cooked potatoes
  • Teriyaki Dad’s Chicken Breast & Fresh Cut Pineapple
    • Fresh, never canned pineapple
  • Dad’s Plain Chicken & Veggies
    • Green and red peppers, red onions, summer squash
  • Certified Angus Beef Boneless Sirloin Steak & Veggies

These kabobs weigh a hardy 8 to 10oz each and make a good meal for most folks. Simply cook over the grill for 15 to 18 minutes for either the chicken or beef varieties. They make a great dinner when you’re looking for something a little different than the norm. Also, coming soon: Jumbo Shrimp and Veggie Kabobs! Alongside these kabobs, my family loves to serve up some tasty grilled potatoes. We make them with almost every meat item we have for dinner because they turn out just perfectly every time! Just cook some Kitchen Clean potatoes in your microwave and then slice them up in chunks or slices; whatever you prefer. Then add sliced onions and butter. Put all ingredients into large piece of aluminum foil and wrap up. Place on the grill until the meat is done. They’re delicious served plain, but you can also add sour cream, ranch dressing, or some extra chunky bleu cheese dressing on top. Mmm….so good! Happy grilling!
