Chocolate Peanut Butter Cereal Bars

Made with just three ingredients, these scrumptious Chocolate Peanut Butter Cereal Bars are one simple sweet treat! Easily make these allergen friendly with SunButter® sunflower seed butter and Enjoy Life® chocolate chips – both free from the top eight most common allergens in the United States.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cereal Bars

Ingredients:

1 ½ cup peanut butter (or SunButter® for allergen-friendly)

3 cups gluten free puffed rice cereal

1 ½ cup Enjoy Life® chocolate chips

 

Directions:

  1. Coat a 9x9" pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. In a large sauce pan, melt peanut butter (or SunButter) over medium-low heat. When melted, remove from heat and stir in rice cereal until well-coated.  Press cereal mixture evenly into the bottom of the pan. Set aside.
  1. Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and melt for 45 seconds. Stir and continue to heat in 10 second increments until chocolate is completely melted. Pour chocolate over cereal mixture and spread evenly. Place bars in refrigerator for 2 hours, or until firm. Slice and serve.
