Settings and timing

Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake breasts until golden brown, about 30 to 35 minutes. Don't overcook or chicken will be dry. Cool the breasts slightly if you plan to serve them whole. If you plan to serve them sliced, cool the breasts to room temperature.

Chef's tips

Prior to baking, smother the breasts with hot chicken gravy. Continue to bake as normal. This will ensure that your chicken stays moist while adding another layer to the flavor profile.

Instead of gravy, smother with your cream soup of choice ... mushroom, celery, or cream of chicken are good options. Try the same thing with clam chowder. Make a little surf and coop. It really is quite tasty!
